At King David, we are proud that our KD STARS lie at the heart of all that we do. They guide us in helping our children grow into confident, independent, and aspirational learners who carry with them the values of kindness, respect, and responsibility. Our Jewish ethos is central to school life – providing a strong moral compass, a sense of belonging, and a shared commitment to community and family. Through this, our children not only achieve academically but also develop the character and values that will help them shine far beyond their time with us.
We offer a broad and ambitious curriculum, rooted in a strong focus on English, mathematics, and a love of reading. We think the staff at King David have done a great job with our sons. The boys have all become confident and they have benefited from a good education. King David have taught them kindness and compassion.
I promote Jewish values by making them relevant to everyone’s lives. I teach them through prayers, stories, assemblies, and festivals. Children who come to King David will receive a good education and be taught universal values by a warm, caring staff.
I think King David is a lovely environment to be in. The children benefit from the ethos of the school whatever their faiths or backgrounds. Respect, kindness and consideration for others are taught to all the children.
The ethos of the school permeates everything we do. I love my job, and I know the names of all the children. Even if I haven’t spoken to a child for a few days, I will remember that they have just got a new hamster, because we are such a close community.
I am happy to be around my teachers and friends and everyone is very helpful in school.
