A Message from Miss Nina Capek, Headteacher

Dear Parents, Pupils and Friends,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to King David Primary School, located in the heart of Moseley, Birmingham. As Headteacher, I am proud to lead a dedicated team committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can flourish.

At King David, we believe that every child is unique and deserves the very best opportunities to thrive academically, socially and personally. Our curriculum is carefully designed to encourage curiosity, foster a love of learning and build the confidence needed for future success. We also place a strong emphasis on values, respect, and caring for one another – principles that underpin our vibrant school community.

I am delighted that our qualities have been recognised by Ofsted in June 2026, who commented:

"A small school, but a big family’ is how pupils, staff and parents view this school. Care, nurture and smiles are the hallmarks here.... 

Pupils are confident that their staff care about them. They feel safe and valued as members of the school community. Positive relationships between staff and pupils are commonplace. All understand the school’s high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and conduct. Pupils consistently meet these and enjoy being rewarded for getting it right. As a result, the school is a purposeful, learning-focused environment."
